Reformation Worship Service
Tuesday October 31st at 6:45pm

October 31 is the 500th anniversary of the start of the Reformation. On that day in 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. Those theses were issues he wished to debate with leaders of the Roman Catholic Church. That those issues could not be resolved and were not something on which either Luther or the Roman Church could  compromise, led eventually to the birth of the Lutheran Church.

We will celebrate this anniversary with a special worship service at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October
31. The service will be preceded at 5:30pm by a German supper of brats, sauerkraut, potato salad, strudel, and more. The cost of the supper is $6.00 with reservations required.
