If you are looking for a church home, we pray that you will find the right one for you.

Our congregation values solid biblical preaching, traditional worship, and the weekly celebration of the Lord’s Supper.  In Advent and Lent we worship on Wednesday evenings as well as Sundays.

Christian education is one of our congregation’s strengths, with Sunday School classes for children age 3 through sixth grade; as well as classes for junior and senior high students and adults.  Confirmation instruction on Wednesday nights is for 7th and 8th graders.  Two Pre-Confirmation Retreats each year are held for fifth through eighth graders.  Outstanding weekly Bible studies for adults focus on various books of the Bible, a six week overview of the Bible, and Christian discipleship.

Our youth group (grades 6-12) meets regularly, and is involved in one week long trip each summer.  We alternate between servant trips and more “high adventure” trips, with bible study, community building, and personal reflection important parts of each.

Personal relationships are valued by many of us.  As pastors, we take our calling to provide pastoral care for our members very seriously, and know it to be a top priority.  As important as people of similar ages spending time together is, our members also value friendships between people of different age groups.  Intergenerational activities are also an important part of our ministry.  In a day and age where many might not feel that they belong anywhere, we have a strong sense of belonging, and know that to be a great gift for each of us.

Many of our members are involved in serving others outside of our congregation because we understand that in our work we are each called by our Lord to serve our neighbor.  As a congregation, we are also very involved in ministries to senior citizens at the Shores of Lake Phalen, Cardigan Ridge Senior Living and the Homestead of Maplewood.  We serve one meal each month at the Ramsey County Homeless Shelter.   Each weekend during the school year we help provide meals for 32 students from John Glenn School and their families.  A number of us serve as tutors for students and classes there as well.  In 2017 we began a monthly Community Market at John Glenn which serves about 100 families and 400 people.

As pastors, we have found this congregation to be truly gifted in welcoming people and including them in the life and ministries our Lord has given us to share.  We are pleased to invite you to worship with us; and would be privileged to make time to visit with you further about your own situation.
